4. Data Retention & Erasure
- Retention Period : We keep your data only as long as your account is active or as required by Indian tax and local laws (typically 7 years for transaction records).
- Auto-Erasure : If your account remains inactive for more than 3 years, we will issue a 48-hour notice before automatically erasing your personal data, unless you choose to stay active.
5. Data Security Measures
We protect your data using industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards:
- Encryption : All data transmitted (especially payment info) is protected using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption.
- Masking & Access Control : We limit access to your data only to employees or partners (like India Post) who strictly need it to fulfill your order.
- Log Retention : We maintain security logs for at least one year to detect and investigate any
unauthorized access attempts.
6. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell your data. We only share it with:
- Logistics Partners : shiprocket
- Payment Gateways : To securely process your UPI/Card/Net Banking payments.
- Cloud Hosting : Secure servers where our website and database are stored.
7. Children’s Privacy
Neix does not knowingly collect data from individuals under the age of 18. If we discover we have collected data from a minor without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it immediately.
